The 16th welcome holiday of the winter season, the well-known winter holiday  in  Alonistaina  Mainalo, will take place on Saturday, November 30, 2024.

Organizers are the Association of Apantachou Alonistians and the Greek Dance Center of Tripoli.

Tours are organized by tourist offices, while the event includes many activities.

Bean stew in cauldrons, tsipoura, wine, food, dance, music, bonfire in the center of the square, while actions will also take place on December 1st.

"On November 30, Saturday and at night, we begin our feast. With beans in cauldrons, tsipouro, wine... tambourine, clarinet and lots of dancing.

We are waiting for you to shake hands, dance and warm our hearts, around the big fire.

In the square of Alonistaina. You'll need a coat, not a wallet. The event aims to highlight aspects of the local culture, rally the local community and expand the communicative nature of the event, which will contribute to introducing the younger generations to the festive practices and values ​​of traditional society.

The visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy traditional winter tastes, to dance and sing around the big fire that will be lit in the central square of the village".
